THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE VISION

Who we are

We are a creative space where passionate people come together to create unforgettable experiences.

We are passionate lighting professionals who put dedication, creativity and heart into our work. STUDIO 512 was founded to create a place where every visual aspect of a show can be developed collaboratively in a friendly and inspiring environment, while using resources efficiently and responsibly.

The company was founded by Florian Salzmann and Lorenz Lischke and works together with a strong network of freelancers, project-based team members and partner companies.

Would you like to work with us or become part of STUDIO 512? We’d love to hear from you.

If there is one thing that has accompanied me throughout my life since childhood, it is a fascination and curiosity for light and shadow.

Beyond all the technical aspects involved in creating artificial light, over the past ten years I have become increasingly fascinated by its artistic potential and emotional impact. I started with a technical approach and the organizational skills I developed through my professional work and training as a certified Meister für Veranstaltungstechnik specializing in lighting. Today, design and art are at the heart of my everyday work.

Throughout my career, I have gained experience across a wide range of disciplines — from working on film productions and programming to lighting design. Along the way, I also developed a strong passion for light and media art.

At STUDIO 512, I am responsible for lighting design, video design, show programming and operation, as well as custom technical constructions.

My passion for lighting design began during my school years — through my first visits to the theatre and by joining both the technical and theatre groups at my school.

This passion led me to start working independently at an early stage and to specialize in lighting. Today, my focus lies in design and technical planning, project management and technical direction.

I continuously expand my knowledge, keep up with industry developments and study specialist literature on lighting design, always looking forward to new challenges.

With a professional background as an event technician, I now plan and design productions ranging from arena-scale shows and tours to trade fairs and special events.

At STUDIO 512, I am responsible for technical planning, project management, technical department management and show operation.
